Overview

Stock, but not! With a quick glance, heck even a longing stare, you’d think these are original equipment, but when the key turns all bets are off. This is as close to stock as you can get while enjoying color-changing LED backlighting, dual TFT message centers and of course late-model drivetrain compatibility. The analog clock in the center position seals the deal; RTX is what you’ve been waiting for! Requires stock or reproduction seven-hole bezel for installation, available separately.

The RTX series is the latest from Dakota Digital, focused on retaining that stock look without sacrificing the late-model features you love. Every effort has been put forth to incorporate OEM design elements regarding the layout, face styling and indicators. A casual glance may dismiss these as original equipment, but once you hit the switch and the LED backlighting comes on in your favorite color scheme, all doubts will be removed.

Starting from scratch, CNC machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house, helping Dakota Digital once again raise the bar for aftermarket instrumentation. The high-definition TFT message centers can be fully configured to display just about any piece of information needed. As you’ve come to expect from Dakota Digital, the RTX series utilizes a central control box to make installation and setup as easy as possible.

Note: Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced. If additional indicators are desired within the new instrument system, consider repurposing any unused indicators to suit your application.

Lighting Technology

• Colors: Over 30 user-selectable color options (needle, sweep, and TFT display zones independently adjustable)
• Brightness: Day/night brightness controlled through setup menu; can be toggled by headlight switch. Optional DIM-1 knob adds rotary adjustment.
• Themes: 12 factory preset color themes; full custom color zones available.
• Technology: Full LED backlighting with RGB control for day/night themes.

Included Sensors

• Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT, ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness
• Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness
• Cable Driven Speed Sensor / Generator: Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires ~5" clearance. Part #130011 (sold separately) allows relocation when extra clearance is required (Tremec and Ford adaptors available on request).
• Bushings: Includes 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings.

Control Box

• Dimensions: 5.5" x 3.5" x 1"
• Pushbutton Control: Two-sided rocker switch included; TFT message center feedback and included buzzer.
• Mobile App: Configure via Bluetooth app (Android/iOS) with real-time gauge readouts.
• Calibration: Speedometer and fuel calibration through pushbuttons/app (GPS-50-2 option can eliminate speed calibration).

• GSS-3000: Universal gear position sensor (automatic transmissions with 2–4 forward gears)
• DIM-1: Light dimming knob for on-the-fly brightness adjustment
• SEN-06-1: Universal/replacement fuel level sensor

• BIM-17-2: Compass with outside temperature module

Expansion

Dakota Digital BIM Expansion modules allow adding up to 16 additional gauges to compatible VFD/VHX/HDX/RTX control boxes (black plastic housing). Older metal-housing control boxes are not compatible.
