Wilwood has packaged the popular Aluminum Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder with the Combination Proportioning Valve, mounting bracket, fluid tubes and mounting hardware in a kit. Tandem Master Cylinder represents the latest in refinements in brake pressure actuation and fluid control. The slotted flange mounting makes it a simple bolt on for many OE mounts including the popular Chrysler, Corvette, GM, and Ford Mustang bolt patterns and is compatible with manual or power brake system applications. Master cylinders are available in three bores sizes, 7/8, 1 or 1-1/8, and three finishes, standard, ball burnished or black E-coat. The combination proportioning valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning adjustments on vehicles with custom brake systems. The combination block maintains full isolation between front and rear fluid circuits and is specifically designed to accompany the Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder. The combo valve and bracket are black E-coated for a performance look and long lasting durability. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with preinstalled stainless tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation between the Combination Proportioning Valve and the Wilwood Tandem Master Cylinder. Stainless steel button head fasteners thread into the bracket for a simple installation and years of durable, rust-free performance. Simply connect the fluid lines, bleed the system, and you're finished.

Tandem Master Cylinder

Wilwood's tandem chamber master cylinders are fully machined from a High-pressure die casting of a premium alloy, it incorporates slotted mounting flange to accommodate mount centers between 3.22" to 3.40" and also features side-hole mounts on 6.40" centers. Master cylinder is has full separation between the front and rear chambers . Dual outlets allow for right or left hand plumbing based on mount location. Offers a total piston stroke of 1.10" and a 2:1 volume ratio between the primary and secondary chambers.

Combination Proportioning Valve

  • Features:
  • Simplifies mounting, fluid circuit plumbing, brake light wiring, and brake bias adjustments on modified, custom built, or competition vehicles equipped with brake system upgrades

  • Maintains full separation between the front and rear fluid circuits when used with tandem outlet or dual mount master cylinder assemblies.

  • Bias proportioning adjustment is provided in the rear fluid circuit.

  • The front circuit has a single inlet and two outlets for optional line routing.

  • A fluid port with a pressure switch responds instantly to pressure in the front fluid circuit for brake light activation. A wiring pigtail with a protective boot is included with the switch.
