UMIs rear upper control arms are a direct bolt-on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop and improve traction while helping track consistency. These control arms are constructed of drawn over mandrel mild steel tubing measuring 1.250" OD x 0.120" wall thickness, CNC machined and fully TIG welded for the utmost in strength. Control arms feature Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings; zinc plated steel sleeves and on-car grease-able grease fittings. Adjustabilityallows for correctly setting vehicle pinion angle. Pinion angle adjustments are a must when wanting to lower your track 60-foot times, increase traction and reduce unwanted wheel hop. The high quality Teflon lined spherical rod endallows for a bind free operation and allow the suspension to articulate correctly. The polyurethane bushing side is designed to be bolted to the chassis side of the vehicle helping to eliminate road noise and maintaining ride comfort.
