This torque arm is specifically designed to work with a TH350 transmission in an 82-92 Camaro or Firebird. It includes a transmission crossmember and a shorter, adjustable torque arm. The setup allows for a 100% bolt-in installation for the TH350 transmission, as well as the factory T5 5-speed transmission. The torque arm setup removes the front mounting point from the transmission tail shaft, protecting the transmission from damage. It comes with pivot brackets for easy instant center adjustments, which can improve vehicle performance, particularly for low to mid horsepower cars. The setup is easy to install with basic hand tools, as it bolts to existing floor pan holes. The construction is robust, with DOM seamless steel tubing, TIG welded chrome moly tube adaptors, and CNC machined mounting plates. The rear mounting points are compatible with stock, as well as aftermarket, rear-end housings. A hardware kit is recommended for certain rear-end designs to ensure proper fitment.
