Our Power steering pumps are set to 1200 psi. If you are using a Mustang II rack and pinion steering system, it is recommended that you also purchase our pressure reducing kit to bring the pressure down to 800 psi. The higher pressure will make your rack and pinion steering too sensitive at highway speeds.
Our black Saginaw power steering pump will work with all of our Saginaw power steering brackets and has the keyway style shaft, which is much easier to work with.
