UMI's new Stage 5 kit includes all of our high-end Pro-Touring products and will turn your A-body into a corner carving machine. Up front we start with UMI's awesome 4056-3 adjustable a-arm loaded with a 0.9" taller ball joint. This arm increases caster to around six degrees andallows road race camber settings with no shims. The lower a-arms are loaded with UMI-built Delrin bushings for smooth motion and precise steering as well as 0.5" tall lower ball joints to further increase spindle height and get rid of the factory bump steer. The 1.4" of additional spindle height transforms the A-body camber curve into something race worthy. Viking's front hybrid coilovers with double adjustable shocks allows ride height, compression and rebound adjustment. The ride height adjustment is accomplished with the included spanner wrenches and thrust washers. The compression and rebound adjusters are clicked by hand (no tools!) and feature a total of 361 possible valving combinations. The front is completed by UMI's 1.250" CrMo handling sway bar. Out back we stiffen the chassis with adjustable tubular frame braces which stabilize the double Roto-Joint lower trailing arms and fully adjustable Roto-Joint upper control arms. With UMI's 2999 axle housing Roto-Joints, we end up with full articulation in all 8 locations. 1" or 2" UMI rear lowering springs (please specify at checkout) are controlled by Viking's double adjustable rear shocks, once again featuring 361 possible combinations. Rounding out the rear is our ?three way adjustable 1" tubular Pro-Tour sway bar. This handling sway bar attaches to the axle housing and also to the rear crossmember for a bind-free system (requires drilling four 3/8" holes). As always, this kit features UMI's quality red or black powder coat and premium hardware. All UMI components are manufactured with pride in Philipsburg, PA USA.

64-72 GM A-Body Tubular Front Lower A-Arms, Delrin Bushings

Tired of looking at hammered, crusty lower a-arms with cracked ball joint bosses? UMI has the solution with brand new modern tubular lower a-arms. UMI lower A-Arms are fabricated from DOM tubing with CNC machined tube ends for a precision fit. They are jig built to maintain accuracy and bolt on correctly every time. All critical areas are TIG welded for superior strength and a clean look. UMI's lower A-Arms also feature improved ball joint angle for lowered vehicles and the design provides additional tire clearance. UMI's P/N 4032 lower a-arms include greaseable, UMI designed and manufactured Delrin bushings. Delrin bushings offer supremely smooth suspension action and precision operation while still providing some insulation from road noise. They come preloaded with polyurethane bump stops, polyurethane spring isolators and premium ball joints. UMI's extensive testing on the street, drag strip and skid pad ensures a quality product able to with stand all types of abuse. UMI Performance lower a-arms are shipped fully assembled and ready for installation.

64-72 A-Body Tubular Front Upper A-arms, .9" Taller Ball Joints

Today's Pro Touring A-bodies are handling like never before. Achieve your goal of awesome handling with UMI's new adjustable upper a-arm. This arm precisely locates a 0.9" taller upper ball joint which in turn improves the camber curve and results in more front end grip. The advanced design of the a-arm also relocates the ball joint plate rearward for increased caster and improved steering feel. The machined CrMo cross shaft holds two precision rod ends which are used to adjust the arm sections. These arms are TIG welded to the laser cut ball joint pad which houses a 0.9" taller upper ball joint. A laser cut bump stop brace completes the arm. If used for drag racing, the 4056-3 can also accommodate a travel limiter. The 4056-3 a-arm is designed to work with factory height spindles and increases spindle height by 0.9". The 4056-3 a-arm set is available in beautiful red or black powder coat and is hand built in Philipsburg, PA USA of US materials.

1964 - 1972 GM A-Body 1.250" Solid Front Sway Bar
Part # 4035

UMI Performance 1.250" (32mm) solid front sway bar is designed to reduce body roll, understeer and increase cornering capabilities resulting in a more balanced suspension. This front sway bar is over 400%25 more rigid than the factory 7/8" front sway bar and bolts directly in place with no modifications. Front sway bar is manufactured from 1.250" 4140 chrome moly steel, CNC bent and formed as one piece to insure maximum strength and performance. Each kit includes new Energy Suspension end links and greaseable sway bar bushings with new zinc plated clamshells. Sway bar is available powder coated bright red or gloss black for a durable long lasting finish.


Viking Front Coil Over Kit
Rear Coil Spring and Shock

Viking's front coilover kit combines a high quality hybrid spring with a 19-position double adjustable shock. The upper coil fits the upper spring perch on your vehicle while the lower part of the coil matches the coilover shock bottom. A coil spring compressor is not required, as the adjuster acts as the compressor. The optional thrust bearing and spanner wrenches allow for easy adjustment of ride height from factory to 3" lowering. The shock itself has independent compression and rebound adjusters to allow custom tuning for street, strip, auto-x and road race - all in one shock. Viking coilovers work perfectly with UMI's lower a-arm or your factory lower a-arm. Pair with UMI's geometry corrected upper a-arm loaded with a tall ball joint and head for the nearest high speed corner, 1/4 mile track or weekly cruise.

1964-1972 GM A-Body 1" Tubular Rear Sway Bar, Chassis Mounted

UMI's A-body Pro-Tour style bar is a true multi purpose high performance rear sway bar. The chassis and differential housing mounts reduce bind normally associated with the factory style bars. The bars are 1" diameter hollow and feature three different rates (street/auto-x, road race/strip). UMI's tried and true CNC machined clamping systemallows differential housing mounting on 2.75", 3" and 3.25" diameter housings. These can be bolted on, or welded for additional security. The double shear chassis mounts are held in place by four 3/8" fasteners. Drilling through the crossmember is required and a template /instructions are included. The house made hex adjusterallows pre-loading of the bar when used for drag applications so your car leaves straight. Choose the longest hole for street, middle hole for auto-x, road race and the shortest hole for drag use.

UMI's tubular lower control arms utilize their Roto-Joint technology for a bind free performance and quiet comfortable ride quality. The Roto-Joint design is a pivot ball lined with a greaseable delrin race designed to offer 28 degrees of total unrestricted movement, more than adequate for a bind free, low friction operation. The Roto-Joint design improves performance over the factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings by allowing the suspension to articulate correctly, and provide precision handling. The installed UMI Roto-Jointallows rear end free movement when high handling, auto cross or road race is a concern while still being a 100%25 streetable setup. The installed delrin race, which lines the spherical ball, absorbs shock and road noise for a quiet and smooth operation on any street or track driven vehicle. This control arm set features Roto-Joints on both sides of the control arms. This is designed for maximum performance and suspension travel. Both control arms feature the correct provisions for adding a stock or aftermarket sway bar. Sway bar holes are reinforced with a 0.120" wall thickness steel sleeve that TIG welded and sanded into place. All Roto-Joints are greaseable and low maintenance making an excellent street setup for your cruiser or race car!

For ease of adjustment UMI has designed their upper control arms with on car adjustability. Pinion angle adjustments can easily be made in the garage or at the track and making adjustments is as simple as loosening two jam nuts. Using UMI's chrome moly on car adjuster, simply turn the adjuster with the control arms attached to the vehicle to quickly lengthen or shorten the control arm. As the control arms are shortened or lengthen the rotate the rear end changing the pinion angle. Pinion angle adjustments are crucial when wanting to lower your track 60 foot times, increase traction and reduce unwanted wheel hop.

1964 - 1972 GM A-Body Rear Control Arm Bolt Kit

Don't reuse your old rusty bolts when installing aftermarket control arms when you can replace them with new ones. This kit includes all new hardware for installing either upper or lower rear control arms in your General Motors vehicle. Supplied is (4) 1/2" grade 8 bolts, (4) 1/2" nylon lock nuts and washers. Complete kit is zinc plated.


1964-1967 GM A-Body Control Arm Reinforcements/Frame Braces

Trailing arm mount braces are designed to reinforce the upper and lower front control arm mounts on your classic A-Body. The more power your ride makes the better chance of bending or breaking the rear control arm mounts. These tubular reinforcements tie the upper and lower control arm mounts together for added strength and driving performance. Control arm braces are manufactured from DOM steel; TIG welded and feature adjustment for a perfect fit on all 64-67 A-Body's. Kit includes new longer Grade 8 hardware, nuts and washers.


65-88 GM A/G-Body Roto-Joint Rear End Housing Bushings
Part # 2999

The UMI P/N 2999 adds the finishing touch to allow full articulation of the GM 4-link rear suspension. By using 2999 and either Roto-Joints or rod ends in the other six locations, your 4-link will move bind-free whether it be autocross transition, road race cornering or just back road corner carving. These Roto-Joints install with a gentle press fit and are retained by a spiral retaining ring. The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is pre-greased with Synco Super Lube and will provide smooth motion for years to come. 100%25 manufactured in Philipsburg, PA-USA.


More about Roto-Joint Technology

UMI's Roto-Joint, short for Rotational Joint,allows 28 degrees of total rotation and unrestricted movement throughout the vehicles suspension. The Roto-Joint is designed to work like a spherical rod end while maintaining streetable qualities of a softer bushing. The Roto-Joint is designed to articulate and prevent suspension bind, and since the installed delrin race does not deflect like softer bushings, there is an improvement in traction and a significant reduction in wheel hop. The construction of the Roto-Joint features a 4140 chrome moly, hard chrome plated spherical ball which rotates in a delrin race. The 4140 chrome moly material and hard chrome plating are designed for extensive wear resistance against hard driving and accumulated miles. The spherical ball rotates in the CNC machined delrin bushing, which is contoured for the spherical ball to allow unrestricted movement as the ball rotates. Delrin is the bushing material of choice due to its high resistance against wear, great tensile strength, and ability to maintain its physical properties. The housing of the Roto-Joint features 4140 chrome moly threads, and a CNC machined bushing holder TIG welded together for the utmost in strength and durability. The UMI Roto-Joint is adjustable and 100%25 rebuildable. This means as the delrin race wears the adjuster ring can be tightened using the optional spanner wrench to apply tension to the ball. If the delrin race would ever wear completely it can be replaced easily.

Spanner Wrench
This spanner wrench is used for adjusting and disassembling Roto-Joints used in all UMI Performance products. Over time if the delrin race inside the Roto-Joint would wear the spanner wrench is used to tighten the adjusting ring applying more pressure to the delrin inside. The spanner wrench is also used to disassemble the Roto-Joint for cleaning, inspection and rebuilding.
